Niya Bond is a passionate online educator, with over 11 years of experience in online teaching, tutoring, Subject Matter Expertise (SME), faculty development and mentorship, and curriculum and content design. She is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Maine (UMaine), where she is researching how to shift the paradigm of online teaching and learning success through the promotion of the professional development of online faculty. She is a self-diagnosed multipotentialite, with diverse roles in education that include online adjunct teaching, online educational consulting, online tutoring, and on-campus engineering advising and internship coordination.
