Maxwell Furigay

Maxwell Furigay is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Pennsylvania working in the lab of Dr. Eric Schelter. His graduate research focuses on developing sustainable metal separation techniques using synthetic chemistry. His undergraduate degree is a triple major B.S. from Trinity College in Hartford, CT in the fields of Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Public Policy & Law, where he developed and investigated organic synthesis and separation techniques in the lab of Dr. Cheyenne Brindle.
After graduate school, he hopes to explore the field of intellectual property law.
