Lucinda L. Parmer
Dr. Luci Parmer is originally from the Pensacola, Florida area, and has been a full-time educator since 2007. She is an Associate Professor in the John Massey School of Business teaching in the Management and Marketing Department at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She teaches graduate and undergraduate students in the subject areas of management, leadership, and small business.
She has a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University’s School of Business and Leadership in San Antonio, TX, an M.B.A. from the University of Mobile. Dr. Parmer’s research interests have been in such areas as organizational courage and ethics, personality and leadership, resiliency and team development, values and conflict management, demographic profiles and business attitudes, followers’ personality and leadership, and power and employee relations.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Gregory of 16 years, and her newly rescued cat, Buddy after her 26-year old cat, Baby recently passed. She also enjoys fitness of all kinds and traveling to the Gulf Coast to visit her family, in-laws, and friends.
