Laura Ross

Laura Guyer Ross received her BA and MA in Oboe Performance and is currently pursuing her Ed.D in Higher Education Leadership. Laura is the Associate Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Maryville University and teaches music courses, freshman seminar courses, and acts as Lead Faculty for the Music Appreciation courses at Maryville University. Having taught at many institutions in the area as adjunct faculty, Laura’s research interests include the adjunct faculty experience and transformative learning. Laura draws upon both her music and teaching experiences when reflecting on best practices in the realm of teaching and learning.
