Howard Aldrich

Howard E. Aldrich is Kenan Professor of Sociology; Adjunct Professor of Business at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; Faculty Research Associate at the Department of Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Fuqua School of Business, Duke University; and Fellow, Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University. In 2016, he received an honorary doctoral degree from Bowling Green State University, where he is on the BGSU Foundation Board.  His main research interests are entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial team formation, gender and entrepreneurship, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. At GoDaddy in Sunnyvale, California, he is best known as “Steven’s dad” and Zede to his grandson. In Boston, he’s known as “Zede” to his professor son’s 4 kids
